I’m Gary Moss. I run Telebyte Solutions — a deliberately small, deliberately specialised UK contact-centre and financial-services technology consultancy, built on a long history of UK contact-centre engineering.

I’m Gary Moss. I started in UK contact-centre engineering at Amcat UK in 2004, ran IT for an insurance group for nearly a decade, and built Telebyte to package up what I’d already learned the hard way. Telebyte’s reference deployment is a live FCA-regulated brokerage I still run every day.
What this is
I built Telebyte Solutions to build, host, and manage the infrastructure UK contact centres and financial services firms run on: predictive diallers, telephony, CRM, and customer-facing websites.
Telebyte is deliberately small. Most of my clients come to me because of that — they’re tired of being passed between five account managers at firms where nobody on the call has ever actually configured a dialplan.
Where the work comes from
My playbook is rooted in twenty-eight years of UK contact-centre engineering — back to Fujitsu’s Manchester contact-centre operation in 1998. Twenty-two of those years are dialler-specific, tracing to the predictive-dialler platforms UK call centres were running in 2004.
That experience is in production, not on a CV. I’ve run five dialler platforms in earnest — Amcat/Noble, ViciDial, Touchstar, Ultra, and Onstate — vendor-side, as the in-house dialler operation for UK consumer-finance call centres, and as the IT function behind a UK insurance group. Hosting, tuning, migration, recovery: all of it done before, under load, for FCA-regulated firms whose calls can’t fail.
I’ve run Telebyte as a private UK technology consultancy since August 2014. The work I sell is the work I’ve already done.
What I believe
Depth beats headcount.
A buyer is better served by twenty-two years of dialler-specific engineering than by a generalist agency with twelve junior staff and a project manager.
Plain pricing beats discovery calls.
If you can't put your starting prices on a website, you don't really know what you cost.
Open source is a feature, not a compromise.
Standard Asterisk and ViciDial mean you're never trapped with Telebyte.
Discretion is part of the service.
Most of my clients are regulated UK firms who prefer their suppliers stay off their public attack surface. I agree. References available on request once a fit is established.
Compliance isn't optional.
UK financial services run on FCA, ICO, and Consumer Duty rules. I bake those in from day one — not as an afterthought when an audit lands.
